I'm Kevin Shelley, a Software Engineering Manager based in the Greater Richmond area with 8+ years of experience building high-performing teams and delivering production-quality software at scale.
Currently, I lead engineering and QA at GOLO, LLC, where I focus on aligning technical execution with business goals — whether that means defining roadmaps, mentoring engineers through complex problems, or driving cross-functional collaboration across product, design, and stakeholders. A growing part of that work involves championing AI adoption across the team, identifying where emerging tools can accelerate delivery and sharpen how we build. Before GOLO, I worked at Honeywell on business aviation tooling, where I coordinated delivery across distributed teams and contributed to the rollout of customer-facing dashboard features used by aerospace clients worldwide.
I specialize in leading full-stack web teams — particularly in e-commerce and platform engineering — and I'm most energized by the intersection of people, process, and product: building teams that ship reliably, communicate clearly, and grow together.
